Governing Law & Currency
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and you hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. All sales are billed in GBP or US and as required by law, billed for tax. Any international Tax amount is determined by province. All sales are final. We do not accept returns.
Retreat & Workshop Terms & Conditions
Bookings
Bookings can be made by email, telephone or online via the website when applicable. To secure your booking 50% of the retreat or workshop fees must be paid in advance as a deposit. From time to time we offer the option for attendees to spread their investment across several instalments. Full payment will be required within 8 weeks of the event or retreat start date. VAT is chargeable at the prevailing rate. We are not responsible for travel and visa expenses or any other additional costs that may be incurred as a result of attending our retreat.
There can be unforeseen changes in scheduling from time to time. It is recommended that you do not purchase transportation or hotel accommodations before 30 days prior to the event.
Cancellations
You are eligible for early booking cancellation and a full refund no later than fourteen (14) days following the date of purchase. If you would like to request a refund, email hema@hemavyas.co.uk, stating the reason for your request, no later than fourteen (14) days following the date of purchase. No refunds are available fifteen (15) days from the date of purchase. ‘No-shows’ are subject to full payment. You can not cancel a programme or workshop. We will have the sole discretion to determine whether you can send someone in your place or reschedule. Hema Vyas reserves the right to alter the retreat/workshop content, change location or cancel the retreat/workshop at any time without liability. If that happens, we’ll notify you promptly and give you a full refund or the option to attend another retreat within twelve months. We are not responsible for travel expenses or any costs that may be incurred as a result of a cancellation. If a participant does not show up at the event, it will not be possible to provide a refund.
Visas
Please ensure that you have travel authorization and/or a visa as required. We are unable to liaise with visa authorities. The online e-visa for India form can be inconsistent and applying for visa 30 days before the event is advised. Contacting or visiting the UK India visa office direct is recommended for first-time applicants.
